The Pakistan Nuclear project started in the seventies after the conductance of a nuclear test by India. After that within just two decades Pakistan obtained the capability of making nuclear weapons and also utitlizing the nuclear technology for peaceful purposes. Not only has Pakistan been able to make nuclear weapons on its own but the delivery system is also develped in Pakistan. The development in the delivery system has been quite rapid. The ballistic missile series that has been made for the purpose of delivering the nuclear war head. A variety of ballistic missiles have been made for this purpose, which differ from each other on the basis of ranges upto which they can mark. Uptil now three type of ballistic missiles with different ranges have been developed. Hataf (low range missiles) Shaheen (medium range missiles) Ghauri (long range missiles) The new tested Ghauri-III has a range of 3500 km.
